Microsoft Acquires BlueStripe to Upgrade Application Cloud Management.

FREMONT, CA: Microsoft acquired BlueStripe Software, a provider of application management technology to boost Microsoft’s on-premises and cloud monitoring capabilities.

BlueStripe solutions help in mapping, monitoring, and troubleshoot distributed applications across heterogeneous operating systems and multiple datacenter and cloud environments. Applications and data are spread across on-premises datacenters and public, private and hosted clouds to support the businesses as many adopt applications to drive innovation and gain competitive advantage. The IT team manages the applications to support and protect the business.

BlueStripe’s monitor IT professionals at the infrastructure level and to gain visibility into applications at the transaction level. Its technology discovers maps applications and dependencies to detect problems for faster resolutions. It also enables to maintain SLAs across complex underlying infrastructure. It updates applications to more modern platforms and migrate the cloud.  

Microsoft will integrate the BlueStripes solution as an integral part of Microsoft’s management products and services like System Center and Operations Management Suite (OMS). Microsoft is committed to provide hybrid cloud solutions and support the existing Blue Stripe customers.
