Microsoft Unveils New Plans for SMBs to Accelerate Productivity
FREMONT, CA: In the fast growing market of the Small and Medium sized businesses, new platforms are required to boost their productivity reports Mary Jo Foley for ZDNet. With an aim to provide new plans to SMBs, Microsoft brings forth three of its Office 365 SMB plans.
Microsoft Office 365 SMB plans substitute the existing Office 365 Small Business, Small Business Premium and Midsize Business plans with Office 365 Business, Office 365 Business essentials and Office 365 Business Premium.
Office 365 Business comes with a full set of installable Office applications like Outlook, Word and Publisher for up to 5 PCs and Macs per user and 1 TB free OneDrive for business cloud storage. Additionally, it offers Office apps on tablets and phones.
Office 365 Business Essentials offers email with 50 GB mailbox, calendaring, online meetings, instant messaging, video conferencing, team sites and 1 TB free OneDrive for business cloud storage. Adding to this, it also provides Yammer enterprise social networking support.
Lastly, Office 365 Business Premium combines the capabilities of Office 365 Business and Business Essentials and comes with a set of installable applications, Exchange Online, Lync Online, SharePoint Online, Yammer social networking and 1 TB OneDrive for Business cloud storage.
