Mitchell Unveils Updated Version of RepairCenter Mobile App
SAN DIEGO, CA: Mitchell, a provider of technology, connectivity and information solutions to the Property and Casualty claims and Collision Repair industries has unveiled the latest version of its RepairCenter Mobile app allowing shops to more easily manage repair processes to increase shop productivity.
The updated version of the app with the help of a mobile device enables the collision repair facilities to manage various aspects of workflow. It also incorporates cutting-edge solutions that improve workflow and internal processes thereby adding flexibility to the user.
With the RepairCenter Mobile app users can now capture and upload photos, send repair status updates and create new customer opportunities at the vehicle. This eliminates the need to re-enter information back at the shop and thereby improves both the employee and customer process.
With the new Production Management feature, staff has the ability to update and view the status and location of any in-process repair right from a mobile device to keep track of all activities during the entire process.
"As competition among repairers grows, adoption of mobile technology is quickly becoming a means of differentiation with the added benefit of increasing productivity within the shop," says Brian Elmi, Director of Product Management, Mitchell. "RepairCenter Mobile streamlines operations eliminating many outdated and time consuming processes making shops efficient, and customers happy, which can turn into increased profits."
