Mobile Developers to Profit More: Thanks to Google's Latest Announcements
FREMONT, CA: Google makes businesses more lucrative for the mobile developers by introducing latest options in advertising through AdWords, Analytics and AdMob tools.
Advertisers can now reach consumers across Google Search, the AdMob network, the Google Display Network, YouTube, and Google Play using a single campaign type- Universal App Campaign. This allows the developers to install ads for Android apps in AdWords or in the Google Play Developer Console.
In covering the announcement VentureBeat reports “Google is working with third-parties (including Adjust, Appsflyer, Apsalar, Kochava, and Tune) to increase measurement accuracy between different trackers in AdWords.”
Google Analytics for apps assist developers understand the effectiveness of various media partners and placements. The Mobile App Install Campaign Attribution allows to “postback” conversions to ad networks.
The new feature allows developers to display and hide certain ads, for instance, a paid users may not be shown the ad. Another beta feature aids mobile app sales teams by allowing them to take ad campaign bookings directly from the advertisers they work with. Another feature “in the coming months” will let the developers customize the appearance of their ads. Also, by integrating the AdMob into Android Studio, the developers can effortlessly create AdMob ad units as they build their app.
By introducing these latest options for the app developers, Google will in turn be benefited as ads drive majority of Google’s revenue.
