Motech Leverages NetSuite OneWorld to Get Real-time Visibility into Franchise Operations
FREMONT, CA: To get unprecedented visibility of businesses worldwide in real time, ensuring consistent compliant management across its six company-owned stores in Philippines, Motech, an automotive service chain, makes use of NetSuite OneWorld. On successful implementation of NetSuite’s unified global business management platform, the company has been able to expand into franchising.
An overview of Motech’s business management process using NetSuite OneWorld looks like:
Companies can develop standard business processes and deploy them across their divisions and subsidiaries at the click of a button, ensuring compliance of standard processes worldwide. By using the platform, Motech has a real-time view of franchise performance through better collaboration with franchisees to manage inventory, profitability and service levels.
NetSuite’s unified business management platform enabled Motech to onboard a new franchise as a subsidiary within an hour. The company can now more easily manage, aggregate and support all of its franchisees including franchisee revenues, margins, profits, conversion rates and other business metrics. With NetSuite OneWorld Financials, the service chain could adjust for currency, language, taxation and legal compliance differences at the local level, alongside regional and global business consolidation.
The order management platform provided Motech and its franchisees a real-time view into what is in stock, on order or on backorder at any given time. Such assistance has eliminated the need for manually creating a detailed report of sales quote to approved order for its six company-owned stores and 28 franchised stores.
On understanding the bottlenecks of its previous software, the company turned to NetSuite for a scalable and agile cloud platform that will enable its business to run both corporate and subsidiary operations without costly on-premise IT infrastructure and resources. To materialize its strategic business objectivities, Motech implemented the platform, receiving support from PGE Solutions, a Solution Provider partner of NetSuite.
For instance, when a super typhoon hit the Philippines, some of Motech’s branches were flooded. In such a critical situation, NetSuite’s cloud-based solution enabled Motech to survive the disaster and subsequent flooding without damage to on-premise hardware or vital paper records. Through its customer database stored in cloud, the company was able to help its customers by offering services in flood affected areas.
With support for over 190 currencies, 19 languages and customer deployments in over 160 countries, , NetSuite OneWorld enables organizations to seamlessly meet the individual needs of local operations and easily adapt to the latest accounting standards and regulations.
