Multi-Year Renewal Contract Between GuestLogix and Sun Country Airlines for In-flight Food and Beverage Retailing

TORONTO, ON: GuestLogix, a recognized distributor of comprehensive merchandising, payment and business intelligence technology to airlines and passengers rolled-out a 3plus year renewal contract with Sun Country Airlines. GuestLogix will also establish its next-generation iOS-version retail platform and payment peripherals replacing the traditional POS handheld devices for the usage through iPhone 6 plus. This iOS-version implementation is to continue its services to US-based carrier’s in-flight food and beverage retailing. GuestLogix’s Global Payment Gateway platform in combination with the fleet-wide technology refresh will provide value-added fraud management capabilities. This partnership put a light on GuestLogix’s commitment to creativity and customer satisfaction.

Sun Country Airlines established in the United States in 1980s, and provides services mostly from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport to 35 destinations. In 2012, this airline become GuestLogix premium customer and was chosen to deploy the company’s handheld POS technology with retail platform to administer the credit cards acceptance for onboard retail purchases.

Sun Country will also implement GuestLogix’ Global Payment Gateway with its next-generation retail solutions to shield protection against payment fraudulence, for both airline and its passenger’s welfare. Moreover, the consumer grade devices onboard launch will boost the airline devices service in the coming days. In addition, digital flight manuals, training modules, customers’ documentation, aircraft and flight-related cases will also see major enhancements.

This partnership deal between the two-heads will carry forward annual approximation of 2.3 million passenger trips for GuestLogix.
