FREMONT, CA: Rubicon Red announces the release of version 2.5.2 of MyST, which provides full support of Oracle SOA Suite 12c launched recently.

MySt is a popular delivery automation tool for Oracle Fusion Middleware and Application. The platform combines the automated Install and Configuration of the Oracle Fusion Middleware Platform, with the automated Build, Deployment and Configuration of code artefacts to the FMW platform across all phases of the software development life-cycle. It reduces the cost of FMW application development, accelerating application time to market and bridging the gap between Development and Operations.

In the website Matt Wright describes, “During the lifetime of a project, multiple Oracle SOA Suite environments will be required, such as Development, SIT, UAT, Pre-Prod and Production. The manual installation and configuring of each of these environments, requires several hundred steps that is nearly impossible to get right in one go, and especially difficult to get right consistently across each environments.”

The latest release of MyST solves one old problems that are caused while developing, deploying and operating Oracle Fusion Middleware solutions.  The issues may vary from minor in-consistencies between environments, to that of configuration of components. These are generally difficult to diagnose and rectify but with the fully automated provisioning of Oracle SOA domains; reducing the time taken for an activity that previously required upto ten days to complete per environment in less than an hour.

Rubicon Red’s latest solution can play a crucial role in DevOps culture and practices since they are capable of taking on full automation of the provisioning and on-going maintenance of the Fusion Middleware environments; automate the deployment and configuration of code across environments to support key DevOps best practices.
