FREMONT, CA: Intel has finally decided to drop the “McAfee” title from its security division which will now be called as ‘Intel Security group.’ The announcement from Intel CEO Brian Krzanich came as no surprise as McAfee brand has been in the news for wrong reasons and Intel has been trying to distance itself ever-since. Intel had acquired McAfee in the year 2010 for $7.68bn with the objective of enhancing the security in its hardware.
