NEC Corporation of America and CareClix Announce Technology-driven Telehealth Service

FREMONT, CA: NEC Corporation of America has collaborated with CareClix – a telehealth solutions provider – to launch NEC Telecare, a comprehensive enterprise-grade telehealth service. The partnership brings cutting edge technologies from both companies to enable organizations to execute and manage end-to-end telehealth programs.

Healthcare providers can benefit from this solution as they can now deploy strategic telehealth programs in an iterative and modular fashion taken into consideration the geographic, demographic, and population healthcare management needs.

With this deal, CareClix’s software-centric, cloud-based solution is integrated with NEC’s enterprise healthcare communication base. The combined solution offers an integrated model of telehealth delivery that delivers seamless integration, robust telemedicine solutions, and superior IT support.

 Key features of NEC Telecare include: software-centric and platform-agnostic platform; interoperability with other assets of an organization such as EHR, PHR, Scheduling, and more; connectivity to national, regional laboratories and pharmacies via an integrated link; training, technical, and best practices support; seamless connectivity to existing cart investments; impending facial recognition biometrics for greater security; use of mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, and NEC communication platforms for secured telecare access.
