New Track and Trace Feature in VIA
PERRYSBURG, OH: Tranztech Solution, a company offering transportation technology solution, has enhanced its Visual Transportation Manager (VIA) product by adding ‘track and trace’ feature for instant visibility of loads all over North America.
VIA is a web-based freight planning and tracking platform that collects data from multiple sources and organizes it in a graphical interface enabling real-time collaboration within a single, easy-to-navigate environment, enabling Third-Party Load (3PL) tracking. The solution has full Mobilecomm experience where clients through standard text messaging (SMS) can access and update, load and stop details like reference numbers of transported goods, their weight, delivery comments, notes and other fright details. VIA Mobilecomm experience can be accessed regardless of device type or hardware, which saves time and money for brokers, enhances collaboration eliminating the distraction of check calls for drivers and helps the solution to transcend beyond a standard GPS tracking device.
Besides, it also enables a 2-way messaging between Broker's Trade management Systems (TMS) and drivers carrying them. The solution can also seamlessly integrate with other TMS, Telematics, Imaging, and Loadboard systems. The tool has a Driver directed arrival and departure status confirmation instead of frequently inaccurate geo-fencing detection.
According to Toby Miller, the CEO of Tranztec Solutions, the new tracking feature will facilitate the 3PLs and brokers to have affordable, real time access capabilities that were previously limited only to carriers with dedicated in-cab hardware.
