Nextep Debuts Work Flex Program for Employees
Employees can work remotely on their schedule through the flex program.
FREMONT, CA: Nextep introduces a new employee work flex program, demonstrating its dedication to upgrading the employment experience and enriching people's lives. While the organization has always embraced flexibility in terms of work hours and location to accommodate personal circumstances, establishing this policy is another step toward increasing overall job satisfaction for their employees.
Employees can choose a flexible office layout that works for them personally and professionally, with the option to work remotely two full days per week. Nextep employees can also choose from a variety of modified daily work schedules, including 7:00 a.m–4:00 p.m., 8:30 a.m–5:30 p.m., and 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., which allows them to work when it is most convenient for them while still maintaining a strong focus on the company's clients and own office hours.
After relocating its workers to work from home at the outbreak's onset, Nextep's people and deep integration of technology demonstrated that the company could remain successful and provide professional care to clients regardless of where they worked. Because many employees benefited from remote work on both a personal and professional level, Nextep management made it a point to incorporate that flexibility into the company's return to office preparations.
In a press release, Lindsey Nichols, Vice President of Human Resources, says that Nextep places a premium on work/life balance. Nextep established a flex program that provides their staff with the flexibility they desire, prioritizes corporate culture, and enables them to continue providing the great assistance their clients have come to expect from Nextep. Their work flex policy is another approach to give their employees valuable time back.
Maintaining a strong culture is a top priority for the organization and a critical component of the flex program. While workers can work remotely two full days per week, departments agree on a weekly day when everyone is in the office to maintain in-person contacts. To foster a sense of community throughout the organization, each meeting is videotaped, allowing distant employees to feel more connected to the people and events at the corporate office.
Nextep's management work daily to ensure that the company remains a Great Place to Work by listening to its employees. The company believes in investing in its people regularly. When a business takes outstanding care of its employees, those individuals will take exceptional care of the business and its clients.
