Next-Generation Voice and Multimedia Services
FREMONT, CA: Telstra, a telecommunication technology company, recently announced its partnership with NetNumber to deliver premier, next-generation voice, and multimedia services to its customers.
Telstra will be integrating the NetNumber Centralized Routing Engine (CRE), an application available on the NetNumber TITAN platform into its architecture. This will help in supporting the delivery of the latest voice services, which includes enhanced high-definition (HD) voice and Voice over LTE (VoLTE) interconnect services, and reducing latency across its global subsea cable network. Deploying the NetNumber CRE application in conjunction with an integrated set of products between NetNumber and Metaswitch, Telstra will be able to offer innovative services to its global customers.
NetNumber TITAN is a robust centralized signaling and routing (CSRC) platform that presents a universal, virtualized infrastructure for routing policy enforcement, signaling control and subscriber database services in the network. In this platform, operators can seamlessly add numerous applications to transit from legacy to next-generation networking.
