Nihon Kohden Associates with Novation to Deliver Integrated Healthcare Services
IRVINE, CA: Nihon Kohden, a manufacturer, developer and distributor of medical electronic equipments has signed a three-year dual source accord with Novation, a health care service provider. Under the agreement Nihon Kohden will provide sleep assessment and neurodiagnostic services and equipments to Novation clients, including VHA, UHC, Children’s Hospital Association and Provista members and affiliates.
Nihon Kohden’s easy-to-use, reliable and major products are patient monitors, electroencephalographs, evoked potential and electromyograph systems, electrocardiographs, defibrillators, hematology analyzers and Pulse Oximetry. Nihon Kohden scientist Dr. Takuo Aoyagi has invented Pulse Oximetry, the technology to measure the oxygen level in the blood which is considered noninvasive and painless. Nihon Kohden also offers equipments for cardiology, urology, respiratory care, anesthesiology, emergency care, sports medicine and rehabilitation.
