Nuage Networks Announced CloudPlatform Technology Partner For Accelerite
SANTA CLARA, CA: Nuage Networks, the Nokia venture focused on software-defined networking (SDN) solutions has been announced as a CloudPlatform Technology Partner for Accelerite, a provider of infrastructure software.
The Nuage Networks Virtualized Services Platform (VSP) is a non-disruptive overlay that fully virtualizes and automates datacenter networks with full control, security and micro-segmentation. VSP provides network virtualization capabilities for clouds of all sizes–from small private clouds to the largest public clouds–making the network readily consumable as compute resources. The rigorous process of certifying VSP interoperability with the Accelerite CloudPlatform provides service providers and enterprise customers the confidence in a joint solution to maximize the effectiveness of their public, private or hybrid cloud infrastructure.
“Our VSP facilitates visualizing the complete network by providing ideal correlation between SDN overlays and the underlying physical IP network infrastructure,” said Sunil Khandekar, Founder and CEO, Nuage Networks. “The VSP’s actionable, significant, and precise information on operational status of open virtual infrastructure results in firms getting profits through improved network flexibility, dynamic traffic flow, and decreased latency.”
"With the completion of Accelerite's acquisition of CloudPlatform from Citrix Systems Inc., Nuage Networks is excited to partner with Accelerite and continue to deliver solutions that help enterprises and service providers address their private and public cloud needs,” said Charles Ferland, Vice President of Business Development, Nuage Networks. “This effort is a continuation of our commitment to helping CloudPlatform customers achieve the scale and performance their businesses demand."
As the initial segment of the next-generation CloudPlatform product roadmap, Accelerite recently delivered CloudPlatform 4.7, extending SDN and container support, making CloudPlatform 4.7 the only carrier-grade and enterprise-grade platform built on open source technologies.
