Numerix Oneview Integrates Real-Time XVA Pricing, Counterparty Credit Risk and Market Risk Capabilities
NEW YORK, NY: Financial institutions are transforming in the risk technology infrastructure planning domain to meet the implementation requirements. This is a result of finalization of FRTB (fundamental review of the trading book), the consolidation of XVA pricing adjustments into pre-trade pricing and bilateral margin requirements becoming clearer. But the legacy systems being siloed add to expenses and duplication in the processes. On the same lines, Numerix, an independent analytics institution, plans to introduce its unified analytic application platform for enterprise level risk management and optimization of capital, collateral and funding for maximizing profitability, called Numerix Oneview.
Steven R. O’Hanlon, Chief Executive Officer & President, Numerix asserts, “Built from the ground up, Numerix’s risk product stack has been designed to reflect the transformation of the front and middle office where we’ve carefully thought about risk silos, data processes and analytics in a holistic manner.”
Numerix Oneview is a unified pricing, counterparty credit risk management and market risk platform, enabling fast deployment of pricing and risk analytics including pre-trade decision support, XVA pricing adjustments, market risk analytics, and more. Using its dashboard, managers can drill down multi-dimensional datasets to provide instant response times for complex risk and optimization calculations. Additionally, users are allowed to compare results over various time periods to achieve a timely, accurate view of enterprise-wide risk by analyzing, aggregating, and visualizing large piles of complex and dynamic data.
“Numerix Oneview provides a unified view of risk across an institution, breaking down silos between departments and desks to provide real-time market risk measures and counterparty exposures that firms can utilize to make informed risk, profitability, collateral and capital allocation decisions. With Oneview we will put critical decision variables at the fingertips of senior management where they can respond to market change and anticipate future risks that might impact profitability,” says Satyam Kancharla, Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer, Numerix.
Numerix is able to forge interoperability, flexibility and transparency, and streamline its core services and internal departments with its single stack analytic platform, facilitated by adoption of a unified consolidated philosophy. This also allows Numerix to be agile in the marketplace, so that the pricing and risk applications can rapidly match with the pace for addressing customized business needs.
