FREMONT, CA:  Nurses can now access evidence-based nursing content through the recently launched  Nursing Reference Center Plus App developed by EBSCO Health. This app educates nurses about evidence-based nursing and practices.

EBSCO Health, a clinical decision support solution provider, designed the app to provide staff nurses and nurse educators access to original research. This gives options for patient care while creating learning opportunities that educators want to provide.

With the app, nurses can get answer to clinical question and find document related to their queries through their IPhone, IPads and Android phones. They do not require internet access to get information and also feature the ability to email content as well as to write and save notes on particular topics.

The Nursing Reference Center Plus App allows nurses to find information quickly and easily, at anytime and anywhere. It provides information about diseases and conditions with evidence-based care sheet. The app gives access to robust drug information with contents on nursing practices and skills and also provide videos and images to aid in-patient care.

The app can be accessed through simple authentication process i.e. one-time email which is convenient for the app users; and is also a part of the complimentary Nursing Reference Center Plus subscription with no extra charges to access the app

"The Nursing Reference Center Plus app makes it possible for busy nurses to get the information they need. By making Nursing Reference Center Plus available from several points of access, nurses can now access the valuable information available in whatever way is most convenient for them," says Betsy Jones, Vice President of Medical Product Management and Chief Content Officer, EBSCO Health.
