Nymity and IAPP Debut a New Privacy Management Tool
WASHINGTON, DC: Nymity in collaboration with the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) recently released the Nymity Privacy Management Workbook and supporting materials. The workbook is an unlocked Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet which is customized to meet any privacy officers’ specific needs. It is available in English and Spanish versions in the IAPP resources.
Nymity, is a research company that specializes in providing accountability, risk, and compliance solutions. Through their solutions, they enable organizations to effectively manage their privacy programs. IAPP is a not-for-profit association that supports the privacy profession.
“In 2015, Nymity conducted workshops in 31 cities across 16 countries around the world with over 500 privacy professionals participating to ensure the Workbook and underlying methodology works well in all sectors and jurisdictions,” states Terry McQuay, CIPP and CIPM certified President, Nymity.
The President of the Centre for Information Policy Leadership at Hunton & Williams and Former Chairman of the IAPP Board of Director, Bojana Bellamy believes that the latest tool will be of great help to integrate different national and regional approaches in a single privacy management program.
