ODSC Announces Keynotes, Speakers for Accelerate AI West 2018

Cambridge, MA - Open Data Science, LLC have just announced two new keynotes coming to Accelerate AI West 2018 this October 31 to November 3. Benjamin Levy, Co-Founder of BootstrapLabs and Ron Bodkin, Technical Director of Applied AI at Google will be joining the previously announced Reza Zadeh, PhD, Founder & CEO of Matroid.

Ben Levy is the Co-Founder of BootstrapLabs, a leading venture capital firm, based in Silicon Valley and focused on applied artificial intelligence. He is also a serial entrepreneur who launched, built, and exited two startups in the financial technology space: data mining software company Praedea Solutions, and InsideVenture, a financial social network for the founders of venture-backed pre-IPO startups.

As the Technical Director on the Applied Artificial Intelligence team in Google’s Cloud CTO office, Ron Bodkin leads AI experiments and collaborates with Google Product and Engineering teams and engages deeply with Global F500 enterprises to unlock strategic value. Previously, Ron was the founding CEO of Think Big Analytics, a company that provides end-to-end support for enterprise big data. When Think Big was acquired by Teradata, Ron led global growth and helped create their artificial intelligence incubator.

Reza Zadeh is an adjunct professor at Stanford University and the founder and CEO at Matroid, a company that makes computer vision simple by providing a studio to create, combine, and use computer vision detectors, without programming. As part of his research, Reza built the machine learning algorithms behind Twitter’s who-to-follow system, the first Twitter product to use machine learning. He is the initial creator of the Linear Algebra Package in Apache Spark.

Accelerate AI 2018 will feature many talks and workshops designed to help attendees learn about data science, deep learning, AI, and machine learning, and how to implement it all into their business.
