SAN MATEO, CA: Tile, makers of the tiny Bluetooth tracker and accompanying app, now introduces a new hardware for a simpler and faster way to find a misplaced phone. With Find-Your-Phone solution, customers can trace the misplaced smartphone or device from its physical Tile, any smart device (Android or iOS), or a web app.

This second generation hardware users just have to double press an ‘e’ button on Tile, enabling the phone to loudly ring even if it’s on silent/vibrate mode. Tile works within 100-foot Bluetooth range, but that does not come as a demerit because lost phone can also be tracked from far away. Users can just log into Tile website to view its last known time and location from map, further ring the lost device or send a message to the lock screen to find help.

"We aim to help our global community of customers never lose anything ever again. Knowing that a cell phone is misplaced every 3.5 seconds, we created Find Your Phone, a solution that lives up to the experience our community members already know and love – it's simple, intuitive, and most importantly, effective," says Mike Farley, CEO and Co-Founder, Tile.

Highlighted features of the latest device include a 3X times louder ringtone (90 decibels) compared to first generation Tiles, for quick and easy locating. The free app turns any phone and tablet into a virtual Tiles with no hardware needed. The app can be downloaded for multiple device; users can also use the device to find cross platform devices as in use an android phone to ring a lost iPad and vice-versa.

Tile is rolled out nationwide across 3000 plus T-Mobile retail store. It will gain strength from T-Mobile’s loyal customer base with its new technology that ensures customers to lose less even the valuable time.
