Onegini to Strengthen its Digital Banking Offering
FREMONT, CA: The security software developer Onegini has teamed up with the banking solutions provider Infosys to integrate Onegini mobile security platform with Finacle banking solutions—a part of EdgeVerve Systems, which is a product subsidiary of Infosys.
The banks can enhance the security of customer data and transactions across different channels with the integration of Finacle. The new solution enable banks to provide its customers with an option to choose advanced authentication methods, including fingerprint, facial, eye, and voice recognition. Finacle also supports multifactor authentication to provide an extra layer of security on mobile devices.
“Our focus is to add security on the top of an organization’s API, making sure that no personal information is compromised,” said Denis Joannides, Founder and CEO Onegini. “We make sure that security becomes simple for the organizations and we offer a solution, rather than a technology.”
Depending on device, location and type of transaction, the end-user is presented with different authentication methods.
“Since we started the company, we have worked with many multinational enterprises in the financial industry,” said Onegini CEO Denis Joannides. “By combining EdgeVerve's product capabilities and deep experience with global banks, we will further strengthen our combined offering to reach new markets and customers in the digital era.”
