Oracle and Ghostery Team-up On Marketing Cloud

FREMONT, CA: With the growth of advertising and marketing technologies consumer privacy is becoming a challenging concern for marketers. Aiming to tackle the situation, Ghostery, a company that provides online transparency and control to individuals and businesses has launched a new app TrackerMap Live on the Oracle Marketing AppCloud boosting Oracle’s Marketing Cloud ecosystem, reports Andrew Jones for VB News.

The TrackerMap Live app allows marketers and consumers to visualize third party tags and cookies on their own and their competitor’s websites. Third party tags are short snippet codes that indicate marketing and advertising technologies such as ad networks, analytics tools and social media widgets.  Placing unnecessary widgets and trackers on a website reduces its performance and loading capacity. The app enables to track website technologies which are causing slow down of pages and helps in monitoring security and privacy policy violations.
