OrangeHRM Introduces New API, Mobile App for its HR Solution

FREMONT, CA: OrangeHRM – a provider of human resource management (HRM) solution- launched the updated version of its open source HRM with additional features of API, mobile app connectivity and Open ID and G+ authentication to suit the business needs.

The new open source version incorporates Corporate Directory plugin that enables employees to find and view the other employees in the organization. This new addition also comes with a mobile app which is available on both Android and iOS platforms. The Open ID and G+ authentication introduces seamless login with Google, Yahoo or AOL OpenID Accounts. OpenID and G+ are open, decentralized standard for authenticating users which can be used for access control, allowing users to log on to different services with the same digital identity where these services trust the authentication body.

OrangeHRM Open Source is a free HR management system that offers a wealth with free documentation and access to a broad community of users. Modules provided with open source HRM include:
