FREMONT, CA: Panzura’s Cloud Controllers is now acclaimed with Microsoft Azure certification.  Panzura controllers on premises and controller running inside the Azure helps users to be benefitted with an end to end global file system that employs Azure Storage. Panzura also unveils the partnership with Oracle, VMware and AliCloud.

“By running Panzura’s Cloud Controllers on Azure has enabled a transparent, hybrid architecture to resolve application performance issues caused when data is not co-located next to the application”asserts Adam Armstrong, the staff editor at StorageReview

Panzura creates the in-cloud NAS on Azure, which will integrate with rest of the global file system in corporate datacenters. The certified Cloud Controllers also assist in eliminating the need for WAN Optimization and expensive Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) networks between offices. In addition to that by leveraging the global file locking applications built for LAN will work equally well on both WAN and its global deduplication customers. That will result in reducing the storage footprint up to 90 percent.

Furthermore, Panzura also supports Azure object storage that is where the Panzura global file system transforms into Azure Storage. It enables users to take the application from the datacenters and use it on Azure without making any changes; by simply by co-locating the same consistent and locking the file system. The user data is currently available in the Microsoft Azure marketplace for both data centers and Azure.
