Paragon Software Expands Agreement with Idealstor

IRVINE, CA: One of the leading data protection and embedded cross-platform file-access technology service provider Paragon Software Group, announced that its award-winning backup and disaster recovery (BDR) solutions have been selected by Idealstor. To expand the capabilities of key Idealstor products including its industry-leading removable drive and backup appliances, Paragon’s finest backup and disaster recovery (BDR) solutions were adopted. Building upon an existing OEM agreement between the two companies, Idealstor is turning to Paragon to deliver full-featured BDR solutions for its customers worldwide.

Including the Bantam removable disk backup system for SOHO customers, and the Teralyte backup offering for small to midsize businesses, Paragon’s Hard Disk Manager (HDM) is offered in combination with Idealstor’s storage solutions with immediate effect. “Our Hard Disk Manager (HDM) offering promises the ultimate in data protection along with quick data access through advanced BDR and system optimization,” says Tom Ferdo, President, Paragon Software Group. The highly scalable system design for large business, the Paragon Protect & Restore technology is also being integrated with the Idealstor Backup Appliance as part of the agreement.
