CRANFORD, NJ: Paragon Solutions, an advisory consulting and systems integration firm and EMC Certified Solution Partner, announces that it has joined the InfoArchive Consortium, an alliance of industry leading organizations committed for scaling and fostering the adoption of next generation unified archiving based on the EMC InfoArchive platform.

The InfoArchive Consortium is comprised of EMC partners—Crawford Technologies, Flatirons Solutions, fme, IS Solutions, Solix, the Windward Group, and now Paragon Solutions—that have met specific requirements to support the initiative and the EMC InfoArchive product.  The InfoArchive Consortium members share a common interest in legacy application decommissioning, active data archiving, database archiving and customer communications archiving and work with EMC customers to deliver the benefits of next-generation archiving technology.

“Paragon Solutions is proud to become part of this alliance where we can share best practices, provide technical advice and promote effective approaches to archiving structured and unstructured content that leverages the EMC InfoArchive platform. As organizations today are consolidating legacy applications and moving applications to the cloud, they must be careful of how they evaluate, store, migrate, retain and ultimately dispose of their data to remain compliant, and InfoArchive helps them lead that charge,” reports Douglas Vargo, Vice President, Information Management, Paragon Solutions.

“Paragon Solutions is a leader in designing and implementing archive solutions. Paragon’s repeatable framework methodology for archiving strategies and implementing EMC’s InfoArchive solution encompasses a complete program. This program helps organizations establish a scalable archiving architecture, ensure long-term compliance of data, align records and legal policies to archived content, and decommission legacy systems. This level of knowledge and expertise will be of great benefit to the consortium,” reports Jeroen van Rotterdam, CTO and VP Archiving Solutions for the EMC Enterprise Content Division, Paragon Solutions.
