PARPRO Acquires Cal Quality Electronics to Expand its EMS Capabilities
CARLSBAD, CA: With a view to expand its Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) capabilities as well as complement the global ODM strategy, PARPRO has recently acquired Cal Quality Electronics (CQE). This is the third acquisition for PARPRO in recent times, which is aimed at expanding their geographic presence. “The CQE business aligns well with our mission and is an excellent strategic fit for our existing Design Engineering, EMS and ODM business,” says Thomas Sparrvik, CEO, PARPRO.
PARPRO is a company that provides comprehensive engineering-rich hardware solutions to companies in Aerospace, Gaming and Telecommunications sectors. On the other hand, Cal Quality Electronics offers both consignment and full turnkey manufacturing services to various Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM).
Laihwang Lo, CFO of PARPRO revealed that the basic idea behind selecting CQE was to provide an even more comprehensive end-to-end solution for its customers as well as enhancing their growth strategy and provide increased shareholder value.
By acquiring CQE, PARPRO will provide its customers a total solution that extends beyond traditional electronics manufacturing services. It will make the offerings of the company competitive at virtually any volume and with any sourcing strategy. The merger will help the company to enter new markets as well as strengthen their capabilities within the electronic and electromechanical value chain.
“We are very excited to be part of this great company, and believe the efforts of our combined teams will bring added value and greater opportunity to our business partners and customers,” mentions Sunil Kumar, CEO, Cal Quality Electronics. “We see great synergies between the management teams and look forward to the additional support, enhanced capabilities, and global reach that PARPRO as a whole has to offer.”
