As devices flourish with time, the need for staying connected becomes a major priority for industries which in turn will impel them to bring in advanced IoT technology to drive new business models and foster revenue growth.

"We need a common language to make sense of the data, so HyperCat lays down some basic principles by which systems can understand, read and identify the information associated with a 'thing'," states Justin Anderson, CEO and co-founder of Flexeye, one of the companies involved in HyperCat's development

HyperCat extends a not-for-profit project built to drive a secure and interoperable IoT for industry by working closely with influential players who are interested in building a smart and secure planet build on interoperable IoT foundations.
