PCTEL Launches VenU PIM160 Antennas; Elevating Outdoor and Indoor DAS Systems
FREMONT, CA: PCTEL, a firm offering Performance Critical Telecom solutions introduced two VenU PIM160 antennas for indoor and outdoor DAS systems to enhance the efficiency of its extensive line of 4G LTE DAS antennas. The antennas were launched at DAS Congress and it delivers high Quality of Experience to concertgoers, sports fans, commuters, or anyone using cellular devices in a crowded venue.
“In designing these DAS antennas, we drew on our experience in deploying specialized Wi-Fi antennas in major stadiums. We also leveraged our expertise as providers of network engineering services for many of North America’s leading stadiums, concert venues, and college campuses," states Rishi Bharadwaj, Vice President and General Manager, PCTEL.
VenU PIM160 DAS antennas effectively meet all radio and carrier manufacturer requirements and provide exceptional multiband performance for 4G LTE MIMO networks. With PCTEL’s tested propagation patterns and advanced PIM performance standard (-160 dBc), the antennas also enhance the networking capacity by reducing interference. They are available in both omni-directional and directional models. Carrier-preferred connector options and special brackets are also available for quick installation on walls, pipe structures or ceiling surfaces. All outdoor models are sealed using ruggedized radomes to prevent entry of dust or water. The radomes deliver long lasting performance under harsh environmental conditions.
PCTEL demonstrated its VenU antennas at the DAS and Small Cells Congress in Las Vegas. The firm also demonstrated its cloud-based SeeHawk Analytics system and launched the SeeHawk Engage network performance test tool product line. With the IBflex scanning receiver, these tools serve as a cloud-based solution for wireless network measurement, testing and analysis. PCTEL also explained how its Network Engineering Services team utilizes tools to manage networks efficiently.
PCTEL also explained how its Network Engineering Services team utilizes tools to manage networks efficiently. "PCTEL’s VenU PIM160 antennas will set a new standard for DAS antenna performance, reliability, and ease of installation," adds Rishi.
