PCTEL Raises the Bar for High Performance Antenna with the Launch of SkyCompass
BLOOMINGDALE, NY: PCTEL, the provider of Performance Critical Telecom solutions to wireless industry, announces the launch of its new product, SkyCompass Dual MIMO LTE antenna. It represents PCTEL’s connected solutions, which delivers performance critical antennas and site solutions for public and private wireless networks globally.
The new product supports networks serving Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), fleet management, health care, public safety, and education. It also serves high data rate applications like direct video feeds and broadband connectivity for commuters. The antenna is capable of making an ideal condition for high-speed rail, fleet, and other transportation modes.
SkyCompass includes a series of six configurable antenna platforms that includes single band and multiband GNSS options addressing the popular rail and fleet management installation needs. The features of the antenna comprises of ultra-rugged design and housing, enhanced electrical efficiency performance, high isolation between elements, and pattern consistency. Another feature is its MIMO capabilities to protect network’s investment in cellular and LTE installations.
