Peco-InspX Delivers New Solutions to Avoid Food Spoilage
FREMONT, CA: Peco and InspX Corporation, providers of technology inspection solutions for the food and beverages industries, have launched two seal integrity inspection solutions- the PouchScan system and the PouchScan Thermal. The solutions are produced to accurately and rapidly inspect liquid, gas or combination liquid and gas filled bags.
Designed to avoid food spoilage and to offer a very low false reject rate, the PouchScan system and its innovative serve motor squeezing approach, delivers industries a new technology to easily detect leaks pouches which are as small as 1mm pinholes. It can examine 160 pouches in a minute resulting in fast and defect-free work. While, the PouchScan Thermal, offers accurate thermal imaging system for products that are hot sealed relative to the surrounding environment. It works at higher speed as compared to PouchScan and detects seal imperfections of 1mm- 3mm in width.
Both the newly-launched solutions are easy to setup and use. Significant highlights of the PouchScan system includes, high accuracy, volume detection, where it can easily verify the volume of any inflated pouch and low cost ownership as it is reliable and inexpensive to maintain. However, the PouchScan Thermal works by inspecting the thermal footprint of the object that is invisible to the human eye and features line speed of up to 200 containers per minute, touchscreen monitor of 17 inches and avails full lineup of ejection options.
Moreover, the new solutions complement Peco-InspX’s existing Vac Trac III dud detection solution, developed to offer seal integrity verification on containers with metal enclosure seals.
