PernixData Enters the market with its FVP V 3.0 and Freedom Platform
SAN JOSE, CA: Software Platform for Scale-Out Storage Acceleration, PernixData announces General Availability (GA) for Version 3.0 of its storage and VM acceleration platform, FVP. The new version is loaded with compatibility and performance add-ons and boasts of proactive wellness capability and can be deployed on PernixData’s flagship software in vSphere 6.0 environments.
The company will also be releasing the GA of FVP Freedom, a free version of FVP software which ensures enhanced experience of the benefits from the server-side storage acceleration, saving organizations from unnecessary investments on storage array caching solutions.

The new features promised by the FVP version 3.0 include an all new HTML5 based User Interface which presents organized performance metrics in a fast, flexible and intuitive interface. PernixPlus FVP provides a proactive wellness capability for the collection of pertinent deployment of data from the customers of PernixData. With this, PernixData’s support team can take care of any issues before any discrepancies appear.
