Pipeotech Promises on a 10-Year Gas-Tight Performance with World’sMost Durable Sealing Solution
Pipeotech Intends to display 10-year gas-tight performance.
FREMONT, CA: Norway’s Pipeotech has hinted about its intention to rewrite the rulebook in the pipe sealing segment by providing a 10-year gas-tight guarantee as a standard on its innovative DeltaV-Seal. The move demonstrates the company’s faith in the type-approved, 100 percent leak-proof gasket, with stringent long-term testing displaying it is now firmly established as the world’s safest, tightest, and strongest gasket.
Complete integrity
“The DeltaV-Seal is one-of-a-kind, and that means we can promise our global customers unique performance, unique durability and a truly unique guarantee,” says Pipeotech CEO Henrik Sollie. “For any industrial operation where liquids or gases are transported via pipe infrastructure, fugitive emissions are an acute problem. They can result in serious personal, environmental and economic harm, damaging the reputations and severely impacting on productivity and profitability. At Pipeotech we view any leak as unacceptable, and we believe facility owners and operators must have the opportunity to do the same. With DeltaV-Seal we have the technology to deliver a complete, long-term pipeline integrity. Guaranteed.”
Permanent performance
DeltaV-Seal was launched in 2015 and has proven its efficacy in oil and gas sectors to chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, maritime, and food and drink production.
The main aspect of its success lies in its design as a CNC-manufactured one-piece metal gasket featuring sharp sealing rings that deform upon the installation to make a perfect fit with flanges. Its construction from the same metal as the flanges ensures a permanent seal that is fire and blows out safe, gas-tight, capable of withstanding any temperature, and one that will not disintegrate in the long-term. Also, it never needs re-tightening, needs less pipeline maintenance, and complete peace of mind.
Simple benefits
“We want to simplify pipeline sealing,” Sollie continues. Giving their customers a solution can essentially install and forget it allows them to focus on the core operations and business rather than gauging what leakage levels are acceptable and worrying about seal maintenance and replacement. DeltaV-Seal provides companies, even the ones in the most demanding industrial segments, the performance they require to maintain sustainable, safe, and optimally productive operations for the long-term purpose.
“No other seal can offer this, meaning no other supplier can currently give a 10-year gas tight guarantee. With DeltaV-Seal it’s now the standard. We believe that sends a very clear message to the market. They can be simply leak proof, for the long-term, with this breakthrough technology.”
The DeltaV-Seal is approved by DNV GL and is trusted by a range of market-leading industrial players, including VARD, Avista Oil, Quantafuel, GE Healthcare, and Primagas.
Pipeotechs 10-year gas-tight guarantee covers all the gaskets made in the materials, size, and pressure classes covered by DNV GL certification. It is there on all approved DeltaV-Seal installations worldwide.
