Pivot3 vSTAC Appliances attain Milestone Systems Certification
AUSTIN, TX: Hyper-converged infrastructure provider Pivot3 refuels its partnership with Milestone Systems through its Certification for its HCI appliances with XProtect video management software (VMS) suite. This certification documents the efficacy of XProtect software failover, combined with Pivot3 vSTAC OS hardware failover, for storing video data and ensuring industry’s highest standard of protection.

The project for certification has three distinct phases. It begins with first two scenarios for a benchmark test, followed by a maximum performance test. Milestone Xprotect recording servers were analyzed for both optimal and degraded mode, for the performance rating review. And it was observed Pivot3 system configured with RAID6E volumes displayed above par throughput, in both the modes, when compared to industry standards. According to company it also displayed a unique fault tolerance which ensures continuity of video ingest under the most demanding scenarios. The certification report holds all the configuration and performance data.
The positive results strongly endorse the fact that the integration between Pivot3 and XProtect meets established best practices, and the joint customers are the ones to benefit with the highest performance and reliability with Pivot3-Milestone installations.
