PIXMA Wireless Inkjet AIO Printers Now Compatible with AirPrint Wireless Technology
MELVILLE, NY: Canon U.S.A, a manufacturer of imaging and optical products, has announced the compatibility of its range of PIXMA Wireless Inkjet All-In-One Printers with Apple AirPrint wireless technology.
Canon ‘s PIXMA Wireless Inkjet All-In-One printers allow its users to print and scan documents from anywhere. It contains features like Auto duplex printing, cloud printing and Mobile Device Printing. In terms of quality, it can produce high resolution printed documents, offering clear details of any image. It also supports AirPrint wireless technology that enables consumers to print photos, emails, web pages and documents wirelessly from their iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices.
AirPrint technology is a feature in Apple OS starting with iOS X Lion and OS 4.2.1 that help users to create printed output without the need of additional drivers downloading and installation. Its features include easy discovery, automatic media selection and enterprise-class finishing options. In context of corporate sector, one can configure Domain Name System (DNS) record which will enable AirPrint printer to appear across other enterprise networks. To utilize AirPrint, users have to connect their printer with iOS device through similar Wi-Fi network and then select AirPrint printer, using an app.
