PLUMgrid Collaborates with NocSys to Expand its OpenStack SDN Solutions
SANTA CLARA, CA: PLUMgrid has recently signed a reseller agreement with cloud service provider - NocSys. With this partnership, NocSys will deliver PLUMgrid's SDN and NFV solutions to Chinese market by deploying OpenStack clouds, where the customers are in need of IO Visor’s distributed data plane.
Built on a distributed architecture, the PLUMgrid platform is an open, extensible and comprehensive platform that is designed for the needs of next generation of cloud infrastructure and runs on x86 servers. The platform offers a rich set of distributed network functions such as routers, switches, NAT, IPAM, DHCP and supports security policies, end-to-end encryption, and third party Layer 4-7 service insertion. Under terms of the partnership, NocSys will resell PLUMgrid's SDN solutions including its Open Networking Suite (ONS) for OpenStack, CloudApex SDN visualization and monitoring platform, training and professional services. With the collaboration, NocSys' customers will have access to a powerful cloud solution which enables reduced Capex and Opex. PLUMgrid and NocSys jointly focus on primary requirements for successful OpenStack deployments such as security, scale and performance, and operations, monitoring and diagnostics.
