Predictix Announces Partnership with Infor for Retail
FREMONT CA: In a latest announcement made, Predictix, a cloud based predictive and prescriptive analytics solution provider for retailers will join hands with Infor, a provider of business applications built for the cloud. As part of this partnership, Infor has invested $25 million in Predictix for a minority stake in the company. Infor and Predictix will collaborate to leverage Predictrix’s LogicBlox Platform to build cloud-native predictive and prescriptive applications for the broader Infor applications portfolio.
Predictix and Infor have made a firm presence in market from past several years and this partnership is expected to enhance their positions and deliverance at the same time. “Infor and Predictix share a passion for delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients,” said Molham Aref, CEO of Predictix. “Infor brings a rare combination of global scale, design thinking, and entrepreneurial spirit that is a great match for our next-generation technology and solutions.”
The partnership will also mean that Infor will disintermediate Predictix applications to its customers as a part of Infor CloudSuite Retail, and Predictix customers will benefit from the expertise of Infor’s Hook & Loop creative agency in creating intriguing user experiences. “We were also impressed by the LogicBlox Platform, which underlies the Predictix applications and has attracted DARPA funding for its fundamental innovation.” said Duncan Angove, President, Infor.
Predictix provides solutions for Merchandise Planning, Assortment and Category Management, Demand Forecasting, Price Optimization and Supply Chain Optimization. Meanwhile Infor provides leading human resources, financials, customer relationship management (CRM), enterprise asset management (EAM), social collaboration (Infor Ming.leTM), and Infor Analytics to the retail industry.
