FREMONT, CA: 3D printing is driving innovations in various fields such as manufacturing, art, education and medicine. Recent advancements have paved way for 3D printing of cells, biocompatible materials, and supporting components into 3D functional living tissues. Researchers from the biotechnology industry are extensively testing 3D printing to reap maximum benefits in repairing damaged tissues and extend human capabilities with bionic body parts.
