Prove Your Knowledge on Technology with Prove It!
Austin, TX: Consulting Simplified, a consulting division of the construction industry website ConstructionConnection.com, has announced ‘Prove It,’ a Test-Train-Test program, to help manufacturing companies participate in self-paced on-demand education with updated intellectual demands of the industry.
Directed by the co-founders Kent Leighton and Suzanne Breistol, Test-Train-Test evaluates the employees’ basic soft and hard skills on technology and train them accordingly based on their knowledge. Both individuals and construction companies can buy Prove It! by IBM tests through ConstructionConnection.com to evaluate their skills and improve them.
If Prove It! testing identifies weaknesses in an employee’s knowledge base, Construction Connection directs them to their course catalogue of self-paced online education resources and suggests the content for enhancing their skills. After the completion of the course, employees get certificates to further demonstrate their new knowledge.
“One of the main differences between the construction industry of today and the construction industry of ten years ago is, today construction companies not only need employees with hands on experience, but equally important is the knowledge of common computer software. Today it’s not just the office staff who needs to know how to use software and other technology; project managers, superintendents and the entire team needs to be competent with common software like Excel, Word, Outlook, as well as popular construction programs like Timberline, On Screen Takeoff, basic AutoCAD, BIM, Primavera or other scheduling programs,” said Leighton.
