QTS and Virtustream Enters into a Technical Alliance for FedRAMP Compliant Clouds
FREMONT, CA: As a response to hiking demand for enhanced compliant cloud and managed IT infrastructure as a service (IaaS) solutions, QTS Realty Trust and Virtustream have announced a technical alliance for cloud hosting and compliance services agreement.
QTS Realty Trust caters to secure, compliant data center solutions, hybrid cloud and fully managed services. QTS integrates technological platform of custom data center, colocation and cloud and managed services, and avails scalable, secure IT solutions for IT applications. The Critical Facilities Management (CFM) service of QTS caters improved efficiency and enhanced performance for third-party data center owners and operators. On the other hand, Virtustream—a key operator and provider of cloud software and services to government agencies in the U.S. and Europe and is dedicated towards enabling its clients with a non breach-able security and compliance. Virtustream is driving a fundamental shift in economics for enterprises by enabling the use of any leading cloud of their choice and also changing the way companies consume the public cloud by using an innovative approach called nested virtualization which breaks down technical barriers with speed and simplicity.
As per the norms of alliance, QTS will deploy two of Virtustream's FedRAMP compliant clouds in QTS' premium data centers. In addition to it, QTS will be using Virtustream's Viewtrust a Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) solution to deliver best in class risk identification and analysis mitigation planning and compliance automation as part of QTS' offerings.
