Radware Expands its DDoS Protection Capacity Above 2Tbps
MAHWAH, NJ: Cyber security provider, Radware has launched a new scrubbing center in Japan which further extends its Cloud DDoS protection capacity to more than 2Tbps. Scrubbing centers are centralized data cleansing stations where traffic is analyzed and malicious traffic including DDoS is eliminated. Scrubbing centers are built to sustain and mitigate high volumetric floods at the network and application layers, along with low and slow attacks, RFC Compliance checks, known vulnerabilities and anomalies.

"The scrubbing center will support the whole Asia-Pacific region and will allow us to expand our cloud security services to include a full range of cloud WAF and DDoS protection services, including our ‘battle proven' Emergency Response Team (ERT), which provides 24/7 DDoS protection services and mitigates attacks for many of our enterprise customers."
Radware offers both Cloud WAF and DDoS protection solutions under its portfolio of cloud security services. Radware’s DDoS scrubbing solution combines volumetric DDoS attack mitigation with Internet pipe saturation to secure clients against DDoS threats and vulnerabilities. In case of a DDoS attack, the traffic is rerouted to the scrubbing center where it houses an Attack Mitigation System
(AMS) for moderating risks and vulnerabilities.
Cloud WAF from Radware equips organizations with enterprise-grade WAF protection encompassing all OWASP top 10 attacks like injection, cross-site scripting, cross-site request forgery, and more. The solution leverages machine learning to automatically identify vulnerabilities, and deploy protection measures. It provides real-time monitoring along with application usage pattern analysis thereby updating clients regularly on various traffic anomalies. This enables clients to quickly detect and mitigate anomalies and revise their security policies based on the changing application usage patterns.
