Red Hat Unveils CloudForms 3.2 for Customers to Accelerate Openstack Deployments

VANCOUVER, BC: Red Hat, a provider of open source software solutions has unveiled Red Hat CloudForms 3.2, the latest version of its private and hybrid cloud managing solution for customers to manage openstack infrastructures.

Cloud forms 3.2 manage openstack infrastructure and workload from one platform and help customers by offering them migration framework across traditional virtualization platform and private clouds based on OpenStack. It also allows them to use bi-modal IT setup.

Some of the most important features the updated version comprises are automated discovery; web-based console support; service catalog publishing and user dialog generation for OpenStack Orchestration (Heat) templates; deeper image and workload introspection capabilities with OpenStack Image Service (Glance) and OpenStack Compute (Nova) integration; and improved capacity and utilization management through expanded OpenStack Telemetry (Ceilometer) integration.

Other improvements in CloudForms 3.2 include support for the AWS Config service; Japanese language support, IPv6 support, and improved bare-metal provisioning and management through integration with Red Hat Satellite 6.Advanced capabilities with a self-service portal, policy-based control, governance, chargeback, showback, orchestration, capacity/utilization planning, optimization and bottleneck analysis and reporting allow enterprises to more effectively manage hybrid cloud environments.
