REDI Partners with OpenFin to Deploy Web-Based Application
FREMONT, CA: REDI Global Technologies has announced its partnership with OpenFin, a pioneer HTML5 container technology provider.
REDI is a firm focused on bringing a new level of efficiency, transparency and openness to the trading process by building a collaborative community of investors, brokers, technology firms and content providers. Through their modular, end-to-end trade management platform, users can perform everything from simple single stock trades to complex strategies across markets and time zones and management of risk throughout the trade lifecycle. On the other side, OpenFin is the financial HTML5 container. Built on Google Chromium and customized for financial firms, OpenFin is a powerful HTML5 engine that enables seamless deployment, native experience and desktop integration.
This collaboration will enable REDI and its partners to leverage OpenFin's technology for deployment of new web-based applications within the next-generation REDI trade management platform. Hence, users will be able to access native REDI and third-party content in a much more flexible and efficient manner.
"Ten years ago, the idea of integrating web-based applications from multiple providers was unthinkable, and yet that's exactly what OpenFin is allowing us to do," said REDI CTO Mark Etherington.
Mazy Dar, CEO of OpenFin, spoke, "The work REDI has done to re-architect its platform in such an open and collaborative manner is extremely impressive, and we are glad to have played a small part.” He further added, “By leveraging our technology, third-parties will be able to deploy their applications within the REDI front end, providing REDI's users with a wider array of content options than ever before."
