Redpoint Unveils B3 Workforce Safety Badge to Enable Hazard Alerts
LAS VEGAS, NV: Keeping the workers’ safety on first priority, Redpoint Positioning, developer of GPS-like indoor-positioning solutions, has launched the Redpoint B3 Workforce Safety Badge.
Based on Redpoint’s Indoor GPS platform, the new solution enables general contractors in commercial, civil construction industries and industrial to raise alarm during any hazard or disaster. It enables zone-based alerts and offers a complete visibility into workforce activity.

With the help of Indoor GPS platform, B3 Workforce Safety Badge identifies real-time location with up to 8” accuracy. It features audible, visible alerts for hazard warnings, an emergency call button and a text display for communications. The new solution is compact and wearable ID badge, which has Bluetooth interface that allows connection to smart phones and tablets for Building Information Modeling (BIM) navigation and other context-aware applications.
