Reliv Brings Production of LunaRich X for Greater Efficiency
CHESTERFIELD, MO: Reliv International, a dietary supplement and skin-care company is on its way to manufacture LunaRich X, a concentrated lunasin supplement and therefore has installed a new state-of-the-art encapsulation line.
According to the announcement, LunaRich X is highly concentrated and a pure form of bioactive lunasin. Lunacine, a peptide found in soy and some cereal grains, which has been the subject of research since 1996 focuses on cancer, cholesterol and cardiovascular disease and inflammation.
LunaRich X marks the culmination of an extensive research and development process that began with the discovery of the lunasin peptide by research scientist Dr. Alfredo Galvez at UC Berkley in 1996. It is now one of the most heavily researched and scientifically supported nutritional compounds available today.
"The new line will help meet increasing demand and further elevate Reliv's renowned quality control," says Brett Hastings, chief operating officer, Reliv. "We can now manufacture more than 48,000 capsules per hour to support the growing businesses of Reliv distributors around the world. The line will also keep costs low and pave the way for future encapsulated product offerings."
