FREMONT, CA: Herbalife Nutrition trumpets that Rhonda Vetere has joined the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Vetere will have global responsibility, including information technology strategy and implementation. She has over 25 years of experience as a leading technology executive in the health, financial, insurance, and consumer packaged goods industry verticals, and several telecommunications companies across the globe.
Herbalife is proud to welcome Vetere as its accomplished global executive with tremendous experience to the team. Her expertise will significantly strengthen the company’s technology capabilities and navigate the digital strategies that support Herbalife’s independent distributors’ businesses.
Previously, Vetere serves as a chief information officer at Santander Bank, where she was in charge of the transformation of their mobile, retail, and online banking applications and infrastructure. Before that, she spent five years as the chief technology officer for Estee Lauder Companies, global infrastructure, applications, service delivery, operations, security, architecture, and IT strategy.
Vetere has been noted for several executive and technology awards, including the 2019 Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology from the National Diversity Council and shortlisted Top Woman of the Year, for Women in IT Awards Silicon Valley, recently in 2019. Rhonda Vetere opined that she wishes to bring her expertise in technology space for increasing value for Herbalife’s distributors, customers, and employees.
