Rubrik Releases Version 2.0 of its Converged Data Management for Complete Data protection and Rich Data Services
PALO ALTO, CA: Rubrik, provider of Converged Data Management platform launches version 2.0 of its Rubrik Converged Data Management for complete data protection and management services across the globe. It has also introduced the r348 Hybrid Cloud Appliance, which is optimized and adaptable for longer data retention process.
The Converged Data Management package will allow the existing and new customers with instant on-and off site recovery. “Enterprises are saddled with siloed, multi-tiered legacy solutions that are complex to manage and unable to leverage modern technology services, such as the public cloud. We built the industry’s first Converged Data Management platform to deliver instant data access across private and public clouds via a single, scale-out software fabric,” explains co-founder and CEO Bipul Sinha.
The key services provided by Rubrik Converged Data Management 2.0 includes, Unlimited, non-disruptive replication that comes with master-master native replication and is WAN efficient; Integrated policy engine which includes off-site replication and cloud archival; Disaster recovery, with near-zero RTO and elastic RPO for instant off-site restoration of data; Compliance-readiness with action-oriented reporting indicates notifications on areas to troubleshoot.
Additionally the r348 Hybrid Cloud Appliance is a 2U unit with four x86 nodes that protects up to 300+TB of data and is integrated with Converged Data Management. The r348 streamlines data management process by merging siloed, multi-tiered solutions into one single software. This will result in high-speed data ingestion and instant access.
