SafeRide partners with Irdeto for connected vehicle security solutions
SafeRide, an automotive cybersecurity company that offers anomaly detection and threat prevention solution, and Irdeto have formed a strategic partnership to provide OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers with advanced cybersecurity solutions for connected and autonomous vehicles. This solution combines network security with software security on the ECU, allowing OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers to detect tampering and anomalies to protect against and respond to cyberthreats. This provides multi-layer protection for securing both the vehicle connectivity perimeter and the in-vehicle core layer from known and unknown cyberattacks, including zero-day threats and anomalies.
SafeRide’s solution, vSentry™, provides the ability to uncover the onset of unknown threats and anomalies. Using an Artificial Intelligence engine, in addition to a security engine, the solution provides multi-layer protection for securing the connectivity perimeter and the in-vehicle core layer against unauthorized operations and access attempts. Irdeto’s Cloakware® for Connected Transport solution provides an effective, multi-layered and renewable approach to software protection to protect platforms against reverse engineering, tampering and automated attacks.
