Schneider Electric Expands its ERM with Kinetic Data Software
ST PAUL, MINN. : Schneider Electric, a Multinational Company supplying business to 134 countries, specialized in Electricity distribution, Automation Management and produces Installation components for energy management, has upgraded the Enterprise Request Management (ERM) through the use of Kinetic Data Software. Kinetic Data is a company that deals with ERM, Information Technology and human Resources. It has provided with ERM that improve the user interface by giving the employees a single, intuitive, web based portal for placing and tracking any type of request simple or complex for any type of service or physical item. ERM can be easily implemented without any higher costs.
The results of Kinetic Request service portal include 38 percent shift from phone to web portal, meaning $1.4 Mn cost savings, 50 percent improvement in portal load time, 80 percent reduction in submission time and 54 percent reduction in misrouted tickets saving an estimated time of 260 labor hours. John Conroy, Schneider Electric’s director of user life cycle says, “In 2010, mobile devices weren’t prevalent, but today they’re driving people’s expectations for a fast, simple experience. We had to take action.”
Owing to the success of Schneider Electric’s new portal, plans are made to translate the site into French, German and Chinese.
