SchoolDude Rolls Out New Notification Mobile App for Clients
CARY, NC: SchoolDude, has released a notification mobile app, a tool tied to work requests from its cloud management solutions. Users of the app will receive key workflow notifications such as new request, work assignment, work completion, updates from their SchoolDude applications, including maintenance work orders, IT incidents, and facility scheduling requests. Once logged into the app, clients can easily access the web application directly from the app with no need to re-log in.
“A mobile app is an important addition to the SchoolDude solutions and it gives users an easy sign-on experience from their mobile device to SchoolDude solutions—a major benefit and time saver,” said Lynn Boswell, Senior Vice President of Technology at SchoolDude.
Built specifically for each device platform, the app has been designed for optimal view in both a tablet and smartphone layout using either iOS or Android devices.
The Notification App will allow SchoolDude users to:
- Stay connected with your workflow assignments and updates while you are on-the-go
- Update work requests in real time
- Open the request update page directly from the notification and complete tasks
- Contact Requesters directly from the App via phone, text or email
- Add Requesters to your contact list
- Quickly access your SchoolDude product pages without having to re-log in
“With an increasing mobile workforce, this app will allow technicians at schools and districts to respond faster to requests,” Boswell said. “They will also have the ability to update the work order to a “completed” status in real time without having to wait to get back to a workstation, allowing for more accurate reporting, an important element in justifying budget and labor.”
The notification mobile app is an extension of SchoolDude’s solutions and is only available to clients. It can be downloaded at free of cost from either the App Store or Google Play.
