LAS VEGAS, NV: SCSI Trade Association (STA) unveiled its newest Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) technology and roadmap at the fifteenth annual Storage Visions Conference in Las Vegas. SAS has a productive influence on SCSI (Small Computer System Interface) to fulfill future industry needs. "The demand for digital data creation and consumption is growing every year and this growth in content capacity requires not just more storage devices but faster interfaces to move that data around to where it is needed,” said Tom Coughlin, founder of Coughlin Associates and Storage Visions Conference chairperson.
